Smells of Christmas

I love the smell of Christmas,along with all the lights.
Log fires in the fire place,on those cold winter nights.

The smell of Christmas goodies,that are baked with tender care.
The smell is just the greatest,there's nothing to compare.

The evergreen's so fragrant,the smell of Christmas season.
Like the hanging of mistletoe,thats done for a good reason.

The red berries of the holly,in that arrangement on the table.
Which I'm sure is much better ,then Christmas in that stable.

Poinsettia's all around,to balance off the garland.
Music boxes everyplace,bought by my sweet darlin'.

Cinnamon and Peppermint,fills the air thats in our house.
And what is stirring in the night,is not the Christmas mouse.

Those pies that make me drool,just sitting there on that shelf.
Is as if they were made special,for that jolly old Christmas elf.

A little Christmas Spirt!

So the Scrooge inside of me has finally moved out (if you couldn't tell by my new background and music), and I am finally loving the christmas music and want to even maybe put up christmas lights in my windows! Haha, but I'm still not as excited... it's weird how christmas changes as you grow up and well everyone else gets married and then you are the only kid home... let me tell you it is the weirdest feeling. And it's just weird to ask for things you need but can't afford... oh well I will try and make it the best I can make it. My mom's side Christmas party is on saturday and well I am excited! Even though I will most likely be running after little kids during the whole thing... but christmas wouldn't be christmas without watching and playing with those kids! Maybe some day... haha forever away but someday, some of my kids will be running along with those kids... ok thats weird to think. But anyway... there is just a little bit of snow on the ground and i really don't mind it to much... I just wish it would stay about that much... not like last year!! Here are some pictures of the crazy snow from last year...

Thats right... we had to go through a tunnel to get to our front door! I really wouldn't mind not going throught that ever again! And I bet my dad wouldn't mind it either!

Update on me...

So I just thought I would write a little update on me...
So the job I have right now I love so much, but when they hired me they told me it was a seasonal job, and if they liked me then they would keep me. Well usually during christmas time it's usually really really busy but everyday we almost try to find things to do while they are there... so my boss pulled me aside awhile ago and told me because the numbers have been down so low they can't keep me and that I will be out of a job January 1st... so thanks stupid economy! haha oh well... so if you hear of anywhere that is hiring you should tell me cause I'm in desperate need of a job!
Oh ya... and I still haven't gotten even one call on my car... so it is still for sell but I doubt anyone is going to buy it because of the economy.
Well I had a nice relaxing but fun thanksgiving... it wasn't way big like our usual thanksgivings but I think it was better that way, I actually got to talk to people and well it was just nice! Oh and I got to play with my favorite little guy :) here is a pic...

And on sunday's the singles ward always has a sunday social at the bishops house at night. It's fun and I always try to go! There is always a little devotional, then we eat some treats and play games it's way fun! So me and Marleah decided to go to the park afterwards and we took some fun pictures too! haha here are a couple...

So I never knew how much fun it would be to play in a park at night time! But well we had a lot of fun! Next time we are going to go in the sunlight though! haha

So ya we have had a couple little snow storms... but let me tell you it makes me so so very happy it hasn't really snowed yet! I know... it's probably going to snow sometime and stay on the ground until almost March... so I'm enjoying it while it lasts!

And speaking about snow... I don't know why but I have been such a Scrooge this year! I don't like listening to christmas music... and well I have decided that I only like christmas for 2 weeks and it seems like the whole world wants to drag in on for 2 months! Well ya... I guess I kinda have my dad in me... haha and well I don't think I will be ready for christmas for another week haha I know I'm weird...

Ok... well I don't have much else to say... besides that I'm currently seeking a fun cute boy that will bring a smile to my face :)

(that means if you know any cute single guys... Set me up!)

Fun with Dansie!

First just a cool pic i took the other day... just thought it looked kinda artsy and i loved the red berries :)Ok so now for my fun fun day! I drove to hyrum to spend a day with my awesome friend Dansie! She was one of my roommates while i was in West Yellowstone. I have missed her so much lately so it was really awesome to see her! She took me to all the cool factories up in that area... we went to the Casper's factory (they make the fatboys!), Gossner's (cheese and milk) I got squeaky cheese there :) yumm!, and Pepperidge Farm (they have all the goldfish and those famous Milano cookies)! Then we went to the Casper's Malt Shoppe :) yummy! And we both got an everydaes called that because they are too good for just one day a week! Haha if you don't get it... they are like sundaes haha. Well sadly these are the only pictures that I took while I was up there.

Anyone want a Mustang?

So I have dropped the price of my Mustang to $5,800. I still haven't even gotten one call on my mustang... so does anyone want a mustang? Nothing is wrong with it at all! I love this car more than anything. If you all could help me spread the word about me selling my mustang that would help me SO much! If you hear anyone that wants/needs a new car or something. It's a beautiful car!!

the saddest day of my life...

I'm selling my most prized possesion, my baby, my dream car, my mustang...

I love this car more than anything! I always said that I was going to keep it until I was a grandma, I had dreams of putting hot pink race stripes on it, and I even told people that I was only going to have 2 kids cause my mustang can only hold 2 car seats. But well reality has hit me and I need a more reliable car. I always hoped to get a 2nd car so I could get around in the wintertime but now I need to drive all the way to kaysville for school and henefer for work and I have realized that might be a problem when winter hits and living in Mt. Green doesn't help either. So if anyone is interested or knows anyone that might want a beautiful white v6 manual mustang... well you know how to get a hold of me!

Im so sad to be selling my mustang but I know it's right... I put up an add on ksl so hopefully I will be getting some calls on it soon. As soon as I sell it I'm going to try and buy a new car... I'm looking now but I want to sell my mustang first... maybe if it doesn't sell then I will have to keep it! Haha. I'm looking at Jetta's, Passat's, and Audi's.

I have taken so many pictures of my mustang cause I love it so much... but well here are some pictures of my beautiful car that Im selling... if you could help me spread the word that would be great! I'm hopefully selling it for $6000 and it's in GREAT condition! (this cherry sticker can easily be removed)

Fun with Aidan!

Today I went to the zoo with Keri, Austin, Aidan, and Maddie! I had so much fun with all of them! I haven't been to the zoo in forever so it was cool to go back and see all the animals. Then Keri and Austin went to the Real game and I took the kids home with me to babysit. And well this is what me and Aidan basically did all night :) haha i think it's cute but i threw it all together so fast that it probably isn't that interesting haha but it's fun! It shows how cute Aidan is! And I picked this song because it's one of Aidan's favorite songs! Hope you like it!!!

A-line haircut

Picture: Here is Zach sporting the 3rd a-line haircut that i have cut on him... and also my favorite one! I thought it looked way cute and i loved it! I wanted to be able to actually style the hair to see the end result (it's wet here) but had to hurry and move on to a different haircut. I love a-line haircuts and wish i could have one but i can't pull off the short hair look on me! So i guess that is why im going to cosmetology so i can give people way cute hairstyles!

Blessing: Im so glad that the weekend is finally here! So my blessing today is when you get those breaks that you feel like you have been needing for awhile... this week has been kinda hectic at school and work so Im very grateful for this weekend! And Im going to try to have as much fun as I can!

Picture(s): The haircuts i did today... Zach is in the process of getting an a-line hair cut (haha) i had to braid his beard to keep it out of the way... wish we could cut that off first! And Catherine got a long blunt hair cut and i cut her some layers today, in this pic her hair is braided so you can't tell.

Blessing: having a nice car... I absolutely love my car! It's my dream car a Ford Mustang, and i got it when i was 17 haha ya you may think it's because she is spoiled... but i have worked my butt off for that car and my parents didn't just buy it for me haha. Well as winter is drawing closer im going to miss driving my mustang... i found out last winter that i should have a second car or a plan B for the wintertime because when it snows.... the mustang doesn't like to move. Thankfully my dad has his old truck sitting around as a spare car and most likely i will be driving that alot this winter... so im really going to miss my good heaters and rear window defroster! But well i can live without those things if it means making it out of my driveway!

Picture(2 today): These were taken on sunday but thought they were pretty even though as you can see that the leaves are green still... NOT READY FOR SNOW! haha Well i love the mountains and that is why i enjoy living in Mt. Green so much!!

Blessing: today Im so thankful for warmth... :) i just drank some hot chocolate and i love how it just warms you up so much! Im very thankful for electricity in the cold weather... so we can warm up our hot chocolate, have space heaters, and have wonderful eletric blankets!! Im naturally colder... maybe im cold blooded? haha jk. Well so during the wintertime i couldn't live without these things!!!

Blessing: the blessing of friends... it's always nice to get away and have fun with them! Or it's way nice to be able to talk to them when you are down. I love all my friends so much and wish that i would have more free time so i could hang out with them more!

Any day that im down all i want to do is hang out with this amazing little boy! I hope that i can stay really good friends with this little buddy forever! I seriously love him with all my guts!!!

Blessing: umm... i really wish i could say my family again cause they were really showed me how much they love me tonight but i said that yesturday.... so i have to pick another blessing haha i would have to say the blessing to see all the seasons here where i live. I love seeing the leaves change colors and the warm summers and even the snow can be really pretty. I love seeing all the beauty of all the seasons even though i might not like how cold it gets! Im already constantly wearing a jacket and sleeping with my electric blanket on!! But yet... i swear im always 10 degrees colder than any other human being... haha. So i read Staci's blog and well im going to try my hardest to do her challenge... im kinda busy so im not so sure that it's going to happen but it gives me somethings to actually blog about!

No they aren't halloween decorations haha but tomorrow im going to do my first hair cut on one of these lovely manikins... meet (left to right) Debra, Zach, and Catherine! And no i didn't name them... they came with their names on their necks haha. Zack kinda grosses me out... i can't wait to cut that beard/mustache off!!! So I decided long ago when i would get into the hair part of beauty school that i would try my hardest to take pics of all the hair cuts and styles that i do in school... so today i decided to take pictures of all my manikin heads before i do anything to them!

Blessing: My blessing today is my family... there are times when i don't think they think of me that much or really even notice that i exist but then i realize how much they do care for me and think of me all the time... i love my family and i would never trade them for anything in the world! They make me who i am and they help me out with everything in life! I really don't know what i would do without them... i couldn't ever survive... thats why im going to try my hardest to keep them as close to me as i can throughtout my entire life. I LOVE YOU!!!

Awesome weekend :)

So earlier in the week me and my friend Marleah found this amazing singer that has a band named Allred... if you haven't heard of him (i bet you haven't haha) then you should check him out! He is really really talented and so very amazing! So we were looking at his tour dates and noticed that he had a show in Provo this weekend so basically i called up my sister Becky asked her if we could spend the night and asked our parents if they were ok with us going haha. So we were able to go and it was so so so much fun!! So saturday around 2 we left... it was raining so so much it was scary! Mustangs are really just made to be a summer car i decided haha they aren't very good in the rain and snow! haha but anyway we made a pit stop at ikea cause Marleah hadn't ever been there and well i love that store :) we basically just walked throught the whole store... took some pictures... haha here is a pic...

Well we made it to Becky's we ran around town with her a little bit haha and took pictures when waiting for her haha

We all played uno attack and watched Made of Honor haha good show! Then it was time for our concert!!!! I was so very excited! We had looked at pictures of the building beforehand and it looked kinda creepy haha. We had to wait in a long line of people outside in the rain to wait to get inside... here was an interest thing we found on the sidewalk... i liked it so we took a pic of it.

Then we finally got into the building (and it wasn't creepy at all! It was actually really cool inside!) oh i forgot to say that we saw one of the girls that we go to school with there and she was telling us that the drummer was a friend of hers! Haha so we were standing by her and all of the sudden this really cute guy comes up to her and hugged her! Oh ya he was the drummer :) So we got to meet him and talk with him! It was awesome!

Well then Allred (or John Allred) went up on the stage and he is so amazing! Ah... i wish i could go back again! He played a couple songs at first with just him and his guitar and then later his band joined him. Haha there were some really annoying girls in front of us and they were like the drummer is cute! haha little did they know that not long before he was right behind them talking to us... haha. So at the first of the concert we were way in the back and it was really hard for me to see cause im so very short... haha and there was this girl in front of me with this gigantic purse and she kept hitting into me with her purse... it was quite annoying... we didn't take our cameras into the concert and i wish i did but i took pictures with my camera phone so that has to do haha. So sorry about the bad coloring... this shows you how far back we were but here is a pic of Allred... Amazing Allred...

So all during the concert i was moving and trying to see over these girls and two very very tall guys... and then our friend told us that she was going to try and be by one of her friends so we decided to follow her and we should have moved earlier! We got right up to the stage but on the side! It was very amazing and i got some better shots... i wish that i could have taken my camera cause these just look so blurry... but oh well... her are some pics :) enjoy!

And I just hurried and snapped this of him while we were walking out the door... i wanted to meet him and get a pic with him but there was a huge line and i didn't have the patience to wait haha so we just took a pic when we walked by him.

Well we went back to becky's place we watched some episodes of the office with some of their friends and went to bed way too late... then we were woken up in the morning we ate some captain crunch and watched the first session of general conference and then Jared and his friend made some really really delicious pancakes so we had to have some of those! The recipe that they used was my mom's non the less haha they found it in our ward cook book. Mom we need to make those pancakes more often! haha. Then me and marleah were on our way home... we both didn't get in the shower or anything and i felt so gross passing everyone on the freeway... we could tell a lot of the people were on there way to general conference in Salt Lake... we should have made our little trip to provo more exciting and gone to conference too! But we didn't even think about that until then. So I came home sad to think our fun little trip was over... But we had so so much fun!!! And im so so glad that i went!!! So everyone look Allred up and listen to his songs!!! You will love all his songs! I promise! I do! haha if you like secondhand serenade then you will love Allred!
